I believe fate is real to a certain extent. Everything that has happened to you has happened for a reason. It is important to set your own destiny and work for what you want. I think the people you have in your life are there for a reason, and are a part of your life for a reason. I believe bad things happen to good people, but it is all part of a plan that is set for us. I believe we go through certain experiences for a reason.
